Good story, Not the best in the series, but still a good story. A quarter of my garden dies in the summer heat, another quarter doesn't survive the winter. Yes we as a people have always loved gold. That was probably pretty critical too, but Weber largely skipped over that. I was so happy to find there was a second book to this story.
